Max Theatre Company was started by Nichola Ryan in November 2006.

Her main goal is to make theatre more accessible to the community, especially young people who have less support and fewer opportunities, such as children in care or care leavers like herself.

The theatre company is open to everyone in Bristol and the South Gloucestershire area who would like to be involved in any way; technical, performing, directing etc.

We want to perform plays from every genre, from shocking, thought-provoking new plays by local writers, to timeless classics.

We embrace people of all ages and backgrounds, any or no experience, all are welcome.
